Warranty & Repair  for GTCO CalComp Scanners

 

 

Scanners purchased and installed in the United States after 10/1/04 carry a Two-Year Limited Warranty. Warranties on scanners purchased outside the United States may vary from country to country—contact the original seller for warranty information.

Warranty & Service Contract Claims
Warranty and service contract claims within the US must be processed by our Technical Support Department. For more information, contact us at 480-443-2262 or e-mail Scanner Technical Support.

Factory Repair

Factory repair for scanners not under warranty or service contract is available at a flat rate of $170 per hour, plus parts and shipping (including insurance). We recommend that you purchase insurance when shipping your scanner to our factory. Field Service (US only)
Field service for scanners not under warranty or service contract is available in the United States only. Due to various service provider options, multiple scanner models and the possibility that our scanner technician could assist you without need of repair, please call Fred Bryant at 480-443-2262 or send an e-mail to fbryant@gtcocalcomp.com or scannersupport@gtcocalcomp.com.



Paid Factory Repair for Scanners
Within the Continental US:
An Evaluation Fee of $320.00 (2 hours @ $170.00 per hour) must be received before an RMA number is issued.
The Customer will be responsible for Freight (Cost & Scheduling) and any Associated Paperwork to our facilities.
The Scanner must be shipped in the Original Scanner Crate and Insured for it's value.
Before the unit is returned, the Total Repair Cost minus the Evaluation Fee must be received.
The Total Repair Cost includes: Total Labor ($170.00 per hour), plus the Cost of Parts Used to bring the Scanner up to Factory Specifications, plus return shipping charges (including insurance).
Note:
The Fluorescent Lamp will be replaced unless proof of replacement (within 6 months) is provided.
The White Background Plate will be replaced unless it is in excellent condition.
The Unit cannot leave our Facilities as Repaired if it is not compliant with Factory Specifications.
If a Scanner Crate needs to be purchased, we will discount it (with repair of unit only) to our cost. We will ship the crate to you, and add the cost of shipping plus the cost of the Scanner Crate to the Evaluation Fee. The Empty Scanner Crate will not be shipped prior to receiving the Evaluation Fee.

Outside the Continental US:
