Installing and Removing TabletWorks in
Macintosh
NOTE: The TabletWorks driver is compatible with MAC O/S 7.x and later.
Do not install this driver if you do not have at least Mac O/S 7 on your
computer.
1. Installing the TabletWorks Driver
NOTE: If you are using a TabletWorks CD-ROM, skip to step B.
A. Installing from a downloaded file.
1. Double-click on the "Calcomp TabletWorks"
icon.
2. Double-click on the "TabletWorks
Installer" icon.
3. Click on the "Continue" button on the
TabletWorks Splash
screen.
5. Click on the "Continue" button after
reading the install note.
6. Select the brand of tablet you are using and click
the "Install" button.
7. This installation requires you to restart your
computer after installation. Click
"Continue" to install or "Cancel" t
abort.
8. You will be prompted to restart your computer.
Click on the "Restart" button.
NOTE: After your system restarts, if you are using a Summagraphics tablet,
you will be prompted to select your tablet
model and pointing device.
B. Installing from the TabletWorks CD-ROM
1. Insert Tabletworks CD into CD-ROM drive.
2. Double-click on the "Calcomp TabletWorks"
icon.
3. Double-click on the "TabletWorks
Installer" icon.
4. Click on the "Continue" button on the
TabletWorks Splash
screen.
5. Click on the "Continue" button after
reading the install note.
6. Select the brand of tablet you are using and click
the "Install" button.
7. This installation requires you to restart your
computer after installation. Click
"Continue" to install or "Cancel" to
abort.
8. You will be prompted to restart your computer.
Click on the "Restart" button.
NOTE: After your system restarts, if you are using a Summagraphics tablet,
you will be prompted to select your tablet
model and pointing device.
C. The installation will be complete when the system restarts.
2. Removing the TabletWorks Driver
1. Double-click on the "Hard Drive" Icon corresponding to
the hard drive on which TableWorks is installed.
2. Double-click on the "System Folder" icon.
3. Double-click on the "Control Panels" icon.
4. Click and Drag the "TabletWorks Control Panel" icon to
the Trash. ("TabletWorks-Summa" for Summagraphics
users)
5. Double-click on the "Preferences" icon.
6. Click and Drag the "TabletWorks Prefs" icon to the
Trash. (This step only applies if you have altered the
TabletWorks Control Panel settings from the default settings.)
The TabletWorks driver is now removed from your computer. Restart your
computer.
