InterWrite Software 6.0 Provides Educators a Complete Teaching Solution for the Interactive Classroom

The most easy-to-use interactive whiteboard software just got better, with new student assessment features and exciting new educational content and lessons.

COLUMBIA, MD – December 5, 2005 – GTCO CalComp, Inc. announces the release of InterWrite™ Software 6.0 for the Microsoft Windows® operating system and for use with the company’s InterWrite School Suite products—the InterWrite SchoolBoard, SchoolPad or iPanel. The latest release of the software provides many enhanced tools and student assessment features, plus exciting new content to allow educators to create a dynamic interactive classroom. By integrating the award-winning InterWrite PRS student assessment system into InterWrite 6.0, educators finally have a total solution for the interactive classroom—an easy-to-use interactive whiteboard software to deliver exciting lessons and student assessment software. Teachers who currently have InterWrite PRS can now teach an exciting lesson with InterWrite 6.0 Software, and quickly and easily insert a PRS question into their lesson to instantly gauge the level of comprehension in their classes.

InterWrite 6.0 also provides educators an easy-to-use and exciting platform to deliver content-rich interactive lessons, by offering more educational content from the ever-expanding clipart image and background page galleries. New images include cell and organ diagrams, art and recreation, math manipulatives, additional maps, handwriting, money (including foreign currency) and much more. Many popular InterWrite functions and tools have also been enhanced, including a new Page Sorter and Page Viewer feature that makes it easier for teachers to review lesson slides and the ability to insert live links directly into your InterWrite lesson—whether it is a Web site, computer application or InterWrite file, etc.

	Integration with InterWrite PRS  For InterWrite PRS users, the award-winning PRS assessment product has been integrated into the InterWrite Software, similar to how PowerPoint is easily integrated into PRS. Educators can now turn their lesson slides in InterWrite PRS question slides and receive instant feedback during their lesson.
	Hundreds of New Images and Background Pages  Looking for a cell diagram, or a piano keyboard, or a map of the South Pacific? Teachers have many options with the new and exciting images that have been added to the Image Gallery and Background Pages.
	Adding InterWrite Links  Users can easily create links to applications, InterWrite files, Web pages, sounds, etc., within their InterWrite presentation.
	Combined Page Sorter/Page Selector and New Page Viewer  Combined tools provide easier way to manage InterWrite pages and files.
	Rotating Objects  In addition to the ability to manually rotate selected entities, users can now rotate entities 90 and 180 degrees, as well as flip entities vertically and horizontally.
	Added Support for Additional Bluetooth Stacks  Managing wireless InterWrite products—the SchoolBoard, MeetingBoard, SchoolPad and MeetingPad—has been simplified through the inclusion of a variety of Bluetooth stacks, including Widcomm 3.0, Microsoft Bluetooth and Toshiba Bluetooth.
