Expands Executive Team; Steve Kaye Joins as Co-President and Chief
Operating Officer
Veteran GTCO CalComp employee returns, adding greater strategic
management experience during rapid growth period
Columbia, MD – August 23, 2006 - GTCO CalComp announces that Mr. Steve
Kaye has rejoined the company as co-president and chief operating
officer. Mr. Kaye, a long time member of the company’s Board of
Directors, originally joined GTCO CalComp in 1985 and served as
president and COO from 1991 to 2001. During his ten-year tenure as
president, he led GTCO CalComp to become the world's leading provider of
large format position-sensing systems, including high performance
digitizers and interactive whiteboards. Mr. Eric Timmons will continue
in the co-president role with Mr. Kaye and assume new responsibilities
as the company’s chief technology officer.

Most recently, Mr. Kaye served as president and CEO of Centice
Corporation, which designs and manufactures high sensitivity optical
sensing modules for the analytical, life sciences, medical and
pharmaceutical industries. Previous to Centice, Mr. Kaye held positions
with CIENA, Hewlett Packard and Westinghouse. Steve has a B.S. in
electrical engineering from The University of Tennessee and an MBA from
The Wharton School. Mr. Kaye also serves on the board of EOD Technology,
Inc.
