CalComp Announces AccuTab II Large-Format Digitizer
August 5, 2002 – GTCO CalComp announced today the release of their new
AccuTab II series of digitizers. The
AccuTab is the default standard for high accuracy in the Geographic
Information Systems (GIS) market. With the new AccuTab II, GTCO CalComp
has provided the coordinate resolution, measurement accuracy,
repeatability and system compatibility that users in the GIS market
demand.
Available immediately, the AccuTab II is the next generation of the
ultra-high accuracy digitizer that set the standard in large format
digitizing for the GIS market. It is compatible with all leading
hardware and software packages, including Class One compatibility with
ESRI’s ARC/INFO® software. In addition, the AccuTab II comes with a
Performance Verification Report and is backed by a unique Performance
Guarantee. If the AccuTab II is not performing within specification
during the warranty, GTCO CalComp will test and repair or replace the
unit back to its original specifications.
Available in four different sizes ranging from 20”x24” to
44”x60”, the AccuTab II is available in 0.005” and 0.002”
accuracies and provides a resolution of up to 4,000 lines per inch. The
AccuTab II comes standard with a 16-button, high-accuracy, illuminated
cursor, making it ideal for even the most precise work.
